Robert Hoag Rawlings Public Library - Renovation

This two decades old library will be revitalized through a full-scale renovation. Outside will feature a mobility plaza and terraced outdoor entrance, while the inside will be refreshed from top to bottom. The first floor will now include a barista-serviced café, maker space, computer training facility, and several public meeting rooms. The second floor while be transformed into a hub for all age groups while providing all of the traditional library services. The third floor will expand the library’s local history archives, including the Hispanic Resource Center, while the fourth floor will be a grand event space with catering kitchen and advanced theatre accoutrements. Originally designed by internationally renowned architect Antoine Predock, the renovations of this library will ensure that this building stays an iconic community space for decades to come.
