The Green Valley Ranch Recreation Center - Natatorium Addition is located in the Green Valley Ranch neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The recreation center, originally built in 2006, required expansion to better serve the rapidly growing surrounding community. The $15 million natatorium addition opened in 2024, significantly enhancing the facility's aquatic programming capabilities.

Construction began in 2021 and the ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in 2024, officially opening the new indoor aquatic facility to the community.

The natatorium addition includes a state-of-the-art indoor pool complex designed to accommodate diverse programming needs for all age groups. The facility features two new water slides that provide recreational entertainment for families and youth. Supporting infrastructure encompasses new changing areas to accommodate increased capacity, dedicated mechanical space to house pool systems and equipment, and administrative office space for facility operations.

The project includes comprehensive support services such as storage areas and chemical rooms specifically designed to maintain the aquatic systems. The expansion addresses the needs of the rapidly growing Green Valley Ranch population while providing year-round swimming opportunities regardless of weather conditions. The addition transforms the recreation center into a comprehensive aquatic destination, complementing the existing fitness and recreation amenities that have served the community since 2006.

The Green Valley Ranch Recreation Center achieved LEED Gold Certification in January, 2026.
